Philly's Dr. Dog don't waste that much time between putting out full-length albums. Since dropping their third album, Easy Beat, in 2005, the guitar-driven band has steadily churned out records every one to two years. So it's no surprise that they have already prepped a new album, Be the Void, to serve as the follow-up to last year's Shame, Shame. What is surprising, however, is the fact that Be the Void apparently marks a turn in Dr. Dog's approach to songwriting. According a release, the album moves away from their symphonic leanings to something more cathartic and straight-up rock and roll. Sounds good to us. You can view the track listing below. The album drops Feb. 7, 2012 on Anti-.
