Download: Two Early DJ Shadow Tracks From Forthcoming 'MPC Era' Comp

The legendary DJ Shadow is putting together an album of archival material. Rejoice! It's called Total Breakdown: Hidden Transmissions From the MPC Era, 1992-1996, and it'll feature 24 tracks--27 if you buy it digitally via DJShadow.com--of previously unheard music. Much of it was created in Shadow's early days using the Akai MPC.

Among the material will be tracks from a never-released 1994 EP that the DJ worked on with Gift of Gab. It's all pre-Endtroducing..... stuff, and you can hear (and download!) two songs right now. Find 1996's "Affections" and 1992's "Dreams of a Piece" below. [TheQuietus]
