Before Nocando releases his proper follow-up to 2010’s slept-on Jimmy The Lock, the Los Angeles spitter has decided to give back to his fans first. He put together a nine-track EP, Zero Hour, that features material both old and new. Some of you might recognize tracks like “You Got Me Fucked Up,” which appeared on masked-producer Mexicans With Guns’ 2011 album, Ceremony.
It’s a noteworthy cut, though, and absolutely deserves another means of being heard. The same goes for the rest of the release, particularly the poignant title track that explores the idea of growing up in L.A. with the feeling that you’re being seen as nothing more than a statistic. You can stream that track below and grab the whole EP here. It features Nosaj Thing and Busdriver.
