The Download Festival, originally begun across the pond in Britain, will continue to expand it's American presence this year. Growing from originally happening in one place to last year expanding to a bi-coastal event, 2007 will find Download incarnations in four separate locations. The first of those, and the only one acts have been announced for so far, will take place at Boston's Tweeter Center August 18. Confirmed to play there are the Shins, Modest Mouse, Wolf Parade, and...Incubus? Wow, which one of those bands doesn't fit? More acts are expected to be announced for that show, and lineups are still coming for Download shows in George, WA (Aug. 25), East Troy, WI (Sept. 1), and Mountain View, CA (Oct. 6).
