Have you found yourself wondering what Kanye West and Jay-Z's great joint album Watch The Throne would sound like covered, nay, drenched in codeine? Well, chopped and screwed aficionados OG Ron C and DJ Candlestick clearly have as they present Chop The Throne. It's a "chopped not slopped" take on the record, much like what Ron C did for the Weeknd's House of Balloons. Hmm, that makes us wonder if he'll do the same for the Toronto singer's latest project, Thursday...
Ron C is only hosting this new project, though, as DJ Candlestick is at the helm of the entirety of Chop The Throne. If his name looks familiar, you might know Candlestick for his work with Houston-based hip-hop outfit the Niceguys, who released one of last year's finest free efforts in The Show.
