Download: Bat For Lashes' Top 10 Cover Songs
We got some very good news yesterday morning from fellow Prefix editor Andrew Winistorfer. He found some live video of Bat for Lashes performing a new track with a string quartet that could mean she finally has a follow-up to 2009's fantastic Two Suns prepared. Chances are she is just testing out new material in a live setting, but we're staying hopeful. Anyway, to coincide with the footage of that new track, Stereogum compiled what they believe are Bat for Lashes' 10 best cover songs. The list includes a riveting take on the Cure's "Lullaby" and a dizzying/palatable version of Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody."
