If you've ever been interested in how a group might transform themselves from a noisy punk band into a sleek, aesthetically rich disco-outfit in a few years time, here's a good chance to find out. Blog Contradefacto on Blast has posted every free tour-CD that Portland's Chromatics has given away at performances, from the group's CBGB days to its current Studio 54 existence. Also, the best thing about this might be that the band has indicated via Myspace blog post that this is fine by them.

Similarly, blog Pukekos has posted a whole ton of Glass Candy tour CDs and demos from their Glass Candy & the Shattered Theatre days to the present, again with the blessing of Glass Candy. For those of you that believe that Italians Do It Better, dig in.
