Doomtree Mashes Fugazi And Wu-Tang To Form Wugazi
Because they apparently aren't busy enough the group unveiled a pretty funny/cool project yesterday: It's called Wugazi, and it mashes up Wu-Tang Clan with (you guessed it) Fugazi. It's actually a pretty good metaphor for Doomtree's style, all things considered. The group is promising a full album of these mashups soon, but for now, here's "Sleep Rules Everything Around Me" a song that mashes up "I'm So Tired" with "C.R.E.A.M." It's actually pretty good, which is more than you can say for most mashups. Though I'm doubting it'll seem so novel in album form. [DS]
