From the underground to the mainstream, June is looking like one hell of a month for hip-hop. There are new albums dropping from the likes of Eminem, Drake, Diddy, Rhymefest, the Roots, Curren$y…you see what I’m getting at. Well, the latest MC to throw his hat into the ring of June releases is relative newcomer Donnis. His much anticipated Fashionably Late mixtape and an EP by the same name are dropping on the same day, June 22, after many delays. The EP marks his major label debut on Atlantic. And, from what I understand, it offers no features. As for the mixtape, though, Donnis is joined by Estelle, John Legend, GLC and others.
