Girl rockers The Donnas are slated to release their new album, Bitchin', on September 18. With the group no longer on Atlantic, the record will come out on the girls' own imprint, Purple Feather, a subsidiary of Red Eye. Expect more rollicking, rocking fun on tracks like "Here for the Party" (apparently not a Gretchen Wilson cover) and "Girl Talk" (apparently not an homage to Gregg Gillis). The Donnas are expected to tour around the time Bitchin' comes out, although specifics aren't known at this point.
