Domino Records has signed Animal Collective to a worldwide deal. We assume that the foursome, which had previously released albums via Fat Cat records, will continue to release smaller-scale projects on its own Paw Tracks label. The band is set to begin work on its Feels follow-up soon, with hopes of releasing the album before year's end. In the meantime, there's still the official release of the People EP to look forward to (it's set for a January 23 release), as well as the Panda Bear solo album, Person Pitch, due on March 20. Not to mention the live boxed set and movie the band has in the works (and you thought you were busy). All you long-term planners out there might also be interested to know that Animal Collective has a series of U.S. dates scheduled for May. You can find the dates after the jump. 05-14 Columbus, OH - Wexner Center 05-15 Newport, KY - Southgate House 05-16 Lexington, KY - The Dame 05-17 Chicago, IL - Metro 05-18 Iowa City, IA - Picador 05-19 Omaha, NE - Sokol 05-21 Denver, CO - Cervantes 05-22 Salt Lake City, UT - In the Venue 05-24 Albuquerque, NM - Launchpad 05-25 Marfa, TX - The Marfa Ballroom 05-26 Dallas, TX - Gypsy Tea Room 05-27 Austin, TX - Antone's 05-29 Knoxville, TN - Bijou Theatre
Whoa. Curious to hear what the next album sounds like.

why why why? why have you guys booked denvers worst band ever? big head todd and/or the monsters and/or the samples and/or the string cheese incident would have been the most/must of the better; my grandmother crying into porridge should and would/will have been better... so, dear dave & noah: im so super excited to see you guys finally come to denver, as my last opportunity to see you was when i was last in nyc during the gates of christo as you played at the bowery (only i found out a day late and somewhere near some dolars (amt) short) . props to the recording of sung tongs in my homeville (near-ish, at the least). &so thus i am happy happy happy and at the same time sad sad sad, but i shall see you guys nonetheless and toss (fresh) fruits upon yr openers, as (in my opinion) they are some pretentious arsehalves. one of two of us have gone to "art (if you will)" school with some of these members, and BEWARE! ...but enough of talking whilst shit pours out the mouthpiece. please be kind and kill us in denver all, with sonic. i sincerely love you guys and know you are not ones to be easily fooled, so all will work out in the end, to be sure... pro(ps)gress eternal, add infinitum. andrew rath and scott william beck
