Despite the uptick in Google searches, legendary country singer Dolly Parton is not dead. Reports have been bouncing around the net all weekend claiming Parton died, and it appears to be a hoax. In fact, reports of Parton’s demise have been fueling Internet rumors since 2006, when Yahoo Answers had a flood of reports of Parton’s death.
This latest celebrity death hoax comes on the heels of rumors claiming Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship was dead.
