DMX was interviewed on a radio show recently to promote his upcoming boxing debut, set to go down on Dec. 12 in Alabama, audio of which is above. There are a handful of funny moments here:
1. When DMX says the reason he changed his lifestyle because he is on probation, and the interviewer acts like that is a perfect answer.
2. When DMX says he doesn't know what MMA is, but says he watches Ultimate Fighting.
3. When DMX says he won't box much because he wants to keep his face.
I am really hoping someone calls YouTube and gets them to tape the fight. [NahRight]
I think that it 's a blessing for DMX to have the self esteem he has after all that he has been through. I can definitely reflect back and feel what he speaks about in his music. Because, I experienced the same lifestyle he had growing up. Everyone I meet tells me that " I look like him ". And at he same age 38, with the same physical build. Whenever I see him in videos or in an interview, it 's like I 'm looking at a mirror image of myself. I really hope the best for my brother in all he do. PEACE.
