DMX Explains Mopping Up At Waffle House
Earl Simmons aka DMX spread his custodial wings at a Waffle House recently. The rapper, who at this point is known for either his pitbulls, his music or his unfortunate police record, decided to help a restaurant employee who said he was a big fan of X.
Simmons explained the random act of kindness: "I was in a good mood and felt that I would do that for him since it was 4 a.m. and [the employee] had been working all night." Despite being in and out of jail on various charges over several years, the Yonkers native kept his head to the sky, saying, "The minute you get too big to mop a floor or wipe a counter, that’s the exact minute you have life fucked up."
