Dizzee Rascal gets un-physical with new release

Hoping to hop on down to your favorite record store on June 5 to pick up a copy of Dizzee Rascal's new album Maths and English? Well you're plum out of luck, bub. XL/Beggars plans to release Diz's newbie in the U.S. only in digital format. That means you'll be able to get it on iTunes, eMusic, and other digital download services. Maths and English will come that old circle-with-a-whole-in-the-middle format overseas, so there's always the import option.

Good point, Phil. The reason the Rascal camp isn't releasing this in the U.S. is because of the poor sales of his sophomore album over here. So, in order to alienate his fan base overseas and not even attempt to win anymore fans he has just given up? And you are right, people are just going to jack this shit and not buy it legally. I, for one, still buy CDs and do NOT have an iTunes or eMusic account nor do I want one. So I am either going to be a sucker and pay a shit load for the import or just get it free from someone who has already jacked it. Silly Rascal.p.s. I guarantee you that within three months of the release, XL will release it in the States with bonus tracks and shit. And if they don't, they are just shooting themselves in the foot.
