Dirty Projectors Unveil EP, “About To Die” Music Video & New Tour Dates

One of the year’s biggest bands returns today with a new video and some great news. Dirty Projectors have announced plans for the About to Die EP, a four-track record led by the Swing Lo Magellan-track of the same name. Following the title track, the EP will feature brand new songs “While You’re Here,” “Here Til It Says I’m Not” and “Simple Request.”

To get the hype going for the November release, the Brooklynites have unveiled a new video for “About to Track.” The video is mostly composed of footage from the band’s recent Hi Custodian short film, written and directed by frontman David Longstreth.

If that wasn’t enough, Longstreth and friends have also extended their world tour with shows including a January performance at Carnegie Hall. Check out the video, the About to Die tracklist and the tour schedule below and pick up the incredible Swing Lo Magellan now and the new EP Novemeber 6, both via Domino. [P4K]
