Dirty Projectors sign to Domino Records

Sources close to the band are reporting that Brooklyn’s Dirty Projectors have signed a deal with Domino Records. Dirty Projectors have had a fluid lineup over the last five years, but front man Dave Longstreth has been joined of late by multi-instrumentalists Amber Coffman, Angel Deradoorian, and Brian Mcomber. This lineup created much buzz last year with Rise Above, a collection of Black Flag songs that Longstreth recalled from memory. The band is playing a European schedule during the spring and summer, and will then resume work on two distinct projects, one of which will be its debut for Domino sometime in 2009.
