Dirty Projectors' "Hi Custodian" Film Gets Release Date, NYC Premiere Info
We first saw the trailer for Dirty Projectors' new film Hi Custodian before their excellent Swing Lo Magellan was released. Now the film has been given a release date and an official premiere. Pitchfork (who also executive produced the film) is hosting two screenings at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in Manhattan on September 6, one at 8:00PM and one at 10:00PM. Both shows are free and feature a Q&A with Dave Longstreth, other members of Dirty Projectors, and the director of photography, Bobby Bukowski. To attend, send an RSVP to ash@pitchfork.com.

If you don't live in NYC, or end up not getting a seat at one of the screenings, the film will have an online premiere on Pitchfork.tv the next day on September 7.
