Cam'ron has accepted a buyout from Def Jam for the rights to Juelz Santanta. According to Cam, the deal netted him a cool $2 mill. There appears to be no animosity between the two parties, as Juelz explains in a message to Miss Info:

A! What’s good !! Yeah, I’m free!! And ready to do me!! But its still Dip Set 4 life!! Its just going to be a new chapter!!

I have no hard feeling for Cam, after all, he did give  me a chance!!! But I will say this I was loyal to him and he took advantage.

That last bit about 'taking advantage' is, I suppose, a cryptic inference to some mismanagement. But Juelz doesn't address it again, going on to plug his Skullgang crew and to drop another 'A!'

So the best of luck to Juelz, an honestly underrated M.C. who deserves at least a few more cracks at a true crossover hit.  But I can't help but feel a bit down in the dumps about Cam slipping farther and farther into irrelevancy; while Jim Jones is running around with Dame Dash landing major deals with Columbia, the Diplomats erstwhile stalwart leader watches his crew fall further apart. When he was on, Cam'ron was one of the most consistently amusing M.C.s on the planet. I, for one, will continue to eagerly await his turn. [Miss Info, via Nah Right]
