Dinosaur Jr.'s Rare 1987 Performance, 'Chocomel Daze' Now Streaming

Back in 1987, following the release of their groundbreaking sophomore album, You're Living All Over Me, Dinosaur Jr. began getting traction beyond the United States and spent most days out of the year on the road, touring. Now, 25 years since it's release, Merge Records is celebrating the album with the unveiling of Chocomel Daze, a rare live show from that year, recorded in Doornroosje, Nijmegen, Netherlands.

Record Store Day is now streaming the album which features the band's original line-up of J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph. Rough and often spotty in it's mix, Chocomel Daze is a glimpse into a legendary band still developing what would become their signature brand of live performance. A true treasure for die-hard fans.

The album will be available November 15 on limited edition 150-gram vinyl from Merge Records and record stores nationwide. Chocomel Daze is currently streaming via Record Store Day
