Diddy+Politics=Hilarity

Via: Gawker
People in the music business often make the mistake of assuming we give a shit about their uninformed views on the current political landscape. Usually these ridiculous soundbites are at least good for a laugh, but this quote from Diddy is some next-level shit. So, may I present to you, Diddy's thoughts on George W. Bush:
"It's just embarassing the kind of ignorance in my man...It's like my man has no marbles up there ... My man is just running up there crazy and the things he's doing are crazy ... Ain't nobody feelin' that war."
Most unintentionally funny quote of the week? I think so!

Though Diddy or whatever he is calling himself this week is not much of a rapper, I mean without stealing his beat from someone else, he brings up a valid point. The war is this generations Vietnam. Bush, is Bush, there is not much you can say about the man that has not already be said. You want a change, go vote.

Well that's the thing...there's not much that hasn't already been said, and it's been said a hell of a lot more eloquently than "my man has no marbles...ain't nobody feelin' the war," so why say anything at all?

While I do think it's nice that artists use their publicity to rally against injustice, doing it in this way casts the opposition in such a negative light that I can't help but think that it hurts the anti-war movement. If you're going to say something, say it in an intelligent way, and make a real point.

I give the man credit for his vote or die campain, but you hit the nail on the head. People still judge a book by its cover and look at the words and not the meaning behind them, so for Diddy to make his point, he needs to sound intelligent, even if his point is valid.
