Neck tats say a lot about a person, but what about a neck tat of your paramore’s face? Sweet or creepy? Hard to say, and it’s also a little difficult to tell if Chris Brown’s new tattoo on his neck is Rihanna’s face. Look closely: The image definitely has her eyes and facial structure, but with some facepaint clouding up one side. Maybe Brown just really likes Aladdin Sane.
Brown is asserting that it’s not Rihanna, and sources close to the singer state the same. He apparently got the tattoo about a week before Rihanna kissed him at the VMAs, so if it is an ode to her, she’s obviously not too weirded out.
Not to be upstaged, Rihanna herself got a chest tattoo of an Egyptian goddess in honor of her late grandmother. Would she approve? [TMZ]
Update: According to TMZ a representative for Chris Brown has stated the singer’s new neck tattoo is not Rihanna’s face, but rather a skull representing Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
“His tattoo is a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.”
