There aren't enough descriptors in the English language for this band, but here goes. The violin-playing, tuba-blowing, gypsy-dancing, polka-rocking, film-scoring genre-bending DeVotchKa has found a new home for its brand of Eastern European indie-folk. The band joins Neko Case, Tom Waits and Nick Cave on the label and plans on releasing its Anti- debut in March.
The Colorado quartet has been together for ten years, releasing four albums since 2000 amd nominated for a Grammy in 2006 for scoring the Oscar-winning film, Little Miss Sunshine.
