Don' t know if DeVotchKa tours in a beat up old yellow van, as did the family in Little Miss Sunshine, the movie for which the band supplied most of the music. But whatever DeVotchKa's tour vehicle of choice is, it's about to rack up some major mileage. The band has announced extensive tour plans behind its new album A Mad and Faithful Telling, out March 18 on Anti-. The band will be plenty busy at South by Southwest with the Anti- showcase, a Free Yr Radio performance, and other gigs. DeVotchKa will play an in-store at Twist and Shout Records in its hometown of Denver the day the album is released, head to Europe, and then be back on these shores for Coachella and points beyond.
