Devo Reissuing Classic Albums, Playing Them in Their Entirety on Tour

Spazz-rock O.G.s Devo have announced plans to re-release their seminal albums, 1978’s Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! and 1980’s Freedom of Choice, later this year, and in addition, perform both albums in their entirety over two nights on their upcoming reunion tour this fall.

Here are the details: Both of the albums will be out in deluxe CD versions and on vinyl on Nov. 3 as a part of Devo’s brand new 360 deal with their longtime label Warner Brothers. Devo are working on a new album along with the reissue deal.

The band kick of a short tour on Nov. 3 as well, hitting major American cities for two night engagements. The first night at each stop they’ll be playing Q, and on the second night Freedom. Should be two nights of nerded-out awesomeness.
