Developing: Several People Shot Outside Empire State Building

Multiple news agencies are reporting that a several people were shot near the Empire State Building this morning around 9 AM. Thus far it has been confirmed that the gunman has been killed and that a second civilian has died.

Law enforcement officials have confirmed that the shooting was not terrorist-related. The investigation is still in its early stages. Some accounts say that he gunman was a disgruntled employee while other reports have said that it was a domestic dispute or even a robbery.

Mayor Bloomberg is scheduled to hold a press conference about the shooting at 11 AM.
