Fresh off his fundraiser for President Obama, one would think that Jay-Z would have a growing interest in American politics, right? Well that’s not the case.
In an interview with MTV News, Hova throws cold water on any possibility that he’d get involved in government outside of his support for Obama.
"I don't even like the word politics. It implies something underhanded and I think we need less government,” he said at the release party for NBA 2K13.
But that doesn’t mean he isn’t a big fan of the president.
"I gotta respect a man who is the first black president ever. To have that sort of vision and dream, I have to support that."
