After frontman Dave Gahan was rushed to a hospital following a collapse backstage in Athens, Greece, that was explained as "stomach flu," Depeche Mode have been forced to cancel five dates on their world tour for Sounds of the Universe to allow Gahan time to recover. The band already canceled their show yesterday in Istanbul, but they have canceled dates next week in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Croatia, completing a Risk-like cancellation map. The band hopes to be ready to tour again on May 23 in Poland, but that is up in the air at this point.
