How scary is it that this year is so close to being done, we're already talking about albums to be released in 2008? Where did the time go, as we always say? Well, if rapidly getting older gets you down, the fun world pop sounds of Los Angeles-based Cambodian-rock collective Dengue Fever could turn your frown upside-down. There will be plenty of the band's brand of merrymaking on its new album, Venus on Earth, slated for a January 22 release on M80 Music. The album features eleven tracks of all new Dengue Fever material.
The band has a few small shows in and around L.A. coming up before heading over to the WOMEX World Music Conference in Seville, Spain. Then in November and beyond, Dengue Fever has a West Coast tour scheduled. Follow on after the jump for those dates...
