Def Jam has announced plan to repackage and re-release Jay-Z's seminal early aughts albums, The Blueprint and The Blueprint 2, as The Blueprint Collection to coincide with the release of Jigga's anticipated Blueprint 3 on September 11. The move is a shrewd one on the part of Def Jam, since they lost Jay to a Live Nation deal, and Blueprint 3 is the first album from him that isn't on Def Jam. It'll be a chance for Def Jam to continue milking money out of Jay-Z's back catalog. [HipHopDX]
