According to reports from HipHopDX, Method Man told MTV in an interview that Def Jam rushed Wu-Massacre, his upcoming album with fellow Wu-Tang Clan members Ghostface and Raekwon. Seeing how big labels are consistently shady these days, especially with hip-hop releases, this is less shocking than it is simply disappointing. Rae and Ghost respectively dropped a near-classic and a solid record in 2009. And it's likely that working with those two that Meth would have brought his A-game. It's not like Wu-Massacre is sounding badso far, but more time in the studio would have probably made it that much more memorable.
Wu-Massacre drops March 30.
