It seems like barely a day passes without a new announcement regarding Bradford Cox’s latest activities. He’s either jamming with his buddies, helping out MTV, appearing as his solo alter ego Atlas Sound, or slipping back into his day job with Deerhunter. He’s even taken some time to sit in with Liars for this intriguing interview on Drowned in Sound.
Deerhunter is currently on tour with Nine Inch Nails, and Atlas Sound has a number of September/October dates lined up with Stereolab. But with the release of Deerhunter’s Microcastle getting closer, the ever busy Cox is dragging his wiry frame around the country once more for a slew of dates in support of the album. It looks like there’s a window of opportunity for Cox to take a break in December, but don’t be surprised if he finds a way to fill the time. Full Deerhunter tour dates listed below. [Pitchfork]
