During their set at this weekend's All Tomorrow's Parties up in the Catskills, Deerhunter announced plans to take a long hiatus to "devote time to some other things," promising that the gig there would be their last "for a long time." Maybe Cox is talking about taking a break to promote and perform as Atlas Sound, but maybe Deerhunter really are going to be gone for a while. You never now with how fickle these dudes can be.
