The Decemberists have cancelled the remaining dates on their 'The Long and Short of It' tour. The band had been playing two nights in each city, one night focused on longer pieces and the other on shorter songs. The band reported on their website that one of their members' illness was too severe to continue with the tour. The band, not exactly a hearty looking bunch in the first place, also had to cancel European dates for the same reason. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, unnamed Decemberist.
