Death Grips Claim Epic Records Took Down Their Website

The boys in Death Grips have had quite a day already.  After their label Epic Records allegedly claimed that they would not release their latest record NO LOVE DEEP WEB until next year, the experimental Sacramento hip-hop trio leaked the album for streaming and free downloading at midnight this morning. The band now claims that the label has shut down their website thirdworlds.net where the album (along with the NSFW cover art) was previously available. The group tweeted “our sight just got shut down- BASIC AS FUCK.”

Epic has been quiet so far on whether they’re responsible for the site’s takedown and album’s release dispute. Most of the news has come directly from the band’s Twitter.

NO LOVE DEEP WEB is Death Grips’s second album of 2012, following their April release The Money Store

The album is no longer available on the band’s website, but is still streaming on Soundcloud. Listen below:
