Death Cab has new album, West Coast tour

Hot on the heels of the release of Death Cab for Cutie member Chris Walla's first solo album, Field Manual, comes news of the next Death Cab full-band full-length. It's entitled Narrow Stairs, and is slated for a May 13 release via Atlantic. Walla handled production duty on the album, the first single from which will be "I Will Possess Your Heart." Extensive touring will certainly come in support of Narrow Stairs, but for now Walla, Ben Gibbard, and the rest of the boys in the band have a short West Coast jaunt lined up in April with The Cave Singers opening, ending with a Death Cab appearance at Coachella. The band will also hit Bonnaroo in June.
