Death Cab For Cutie Announces Spring Tour

Death Cab for Cutie isn’t done promoting last year’s Codes and Keys. The band will hit the road in the early part of this year, undertaking a venture described as a “one-of-a-kind” tour. The mebers of Death Cab will be joined on stage each night by members of the San Francisco-based outfit the Magik*Magik Orchestra.

The spring tour begins on April 10 in Denver, picking up Youth Lagoon by the time it arrives in New York on April 27, who will open up on the remaining dates. Many of the venues are more intimate than the usual spots Death Cab plays, so this is a chance to experience a special event. Tickets go on pre-sale to fanclub members on Jan. 20, then on general release on Jan. 27.
