Dean and Britta just finished up a busy weekend in L.A. They put in a performance for KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic," a show at the Getty Museum, and two performances at the intimate Silent Movie Theatre. I caught the second of those two shows and loved it. Look for a full review of the show, which included an opening appearance from Matador Records singer-songwriter Jennifer O'Connor, to be up here soon. For now, you can get more of a taste of Dean, Britta, and their backing band live by heading over to The Smudge of Ashen Fluff, where the seven songs the band performed for Nic Harcourt are separated for your downloading convenience. Or you can head straight to the source at KCRW to download the entire show, which includes Dean and Britta chatting with Nic.
