I usually hate to rip things right of Pitchfork, but c'mon, this is Dean and Britta. As in Dean Wareham of shoegaze legends Galaxie 500 (now there's a reunion that needs to happen much more than The Police or Rage) and Britta Phillips, who was Jem. Jem, people, Jem!
Another thing that I hate: tours that don't come through L.A. It's L.A., people, L.A. Second biggest city in the U.S. Hello? Anyone? So while I and my fellow Angelenos, as it stands now, won't get a chance to see Dean and Britta on stage in support of their new album Back Numbers (in stores February 27th), plenty of other North Americans will be so blessed.
