Deadmau5 To Release New Album On September 25

Now it makes sense. When Deadmau5 declared that he needed some time off the other day, it was a decoy of sorts. Today, he announced that he will be releasing > album title goes here < (yes, that’s the album title) on September 25 via Ultra Music.

Continuing Deadmau5’s work with rockers, he enlisted My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way to lend his vocals to first single “Professional Griefers.” The 13-song album features other guests including Imogen Heap, Chris James and Cypress Hill.

Just when you thought that Deadmau5 was laying low for a bit, fans get this exciting piece of news. For fans who can’t wait until September, some of the songs, though incomplete, are on his Soundcloud page. Listen here.
