David Lynch Reveals Solo LP Details

With his feature film career seemingly on hold (his last such effort was 2006's Inland Empire), director David Lynch has turned his focus to music over the past few years. Having collaborated on projects including Dark Night of the Soul and videos for the likes of Moby, the oddball auteur is now ready to strike out on his own with his first solo album, Crazy Clown Time. 

The 14-track "electronic" effort, which Lynch began teasing a few months back, will be released on Nov. 8 via Sunday Best Recordings and PIAS and feature vocal contributions from Karen O on the album opener, "Pinky's Dream." Lynch wrote, performed and produced Crazy Clown Time all by his lonesome, save for some engineering assistance from Dean Hurley. Check out a video below for Crazy track, "I Know."
