Talking Heads frontman (and recent Brian Eno collaborator) David Byrne has had 9 bicycle racks he designed installed around New York City. Each rack is designed to reflect the neighborhood they are placed in—for instance, a guitar-shaped rack is in Williamsburg, and a dollar sign rack is near Wall Street. The racks are meant to encourage bicycle use, but god knows Byrne could never ride a bike wearing this suit. I find it hard to believe that a few fancy bike racks will get people to ride bikes, but it’s crazy enough that it just might work.

Where are the photos? My imagination surely isn't as good as David Byrne's.
