At almost 66 years old, David Bowie's iconic aura has transcended through many phases in the music universe. And now with his upcoming album The Next Day at hand, he examines the past in a variable of crooning, experimental, and retrospective tracks within the album. We’ve already heard “Where Are We Now?” and “The Stars (Are Out Tonight).” Both songs although different in contrast travel along the same lines. Both songs capture the many moments that Bowie has experienced during his long and fruitful life. The man has done and seen a lot and he hasn't left.
The album will be released next week March 12, 2013 via Columbia Records.
