Ex-Pedro the Lion lead roarer David Bazan has never made any bones about the Christian faith that plays into much of his music. And he's certainly been acting like a manic revival circuit preacher this year, what with all the touring he's been doing. Bazan has been playing his own shows as well as opening for the likes of Ben Gibbard and the New Year. Starting in September, he'll head back out on tour for another good two months, this time with Casiotone for the Painfully Alone and All Smiles supporting him on certain stretches. Bazan will most likely be road testing new material he hopes to have out on a new Barsuk album early next year.
