David Banner preps new album, threatens to go Kanye route

Via: MTV
David Banner has been busy working on his self-proclaimed "best album in history" while also doing the acting thing with roles in Black Snake Moan and This Christmas. Although he hasn't finalized a title for the new record, the following guests have been confirmed so far: T.I., Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Carl Thomas, Akon and Chris Brown. Regarding Lil' Wayne's spot, Banner said, "Lil Wayne blessed me with the verse of the century."
All this sounds good, but expect a blowup of Kanye-esque proportions if he doesn't get the credit he's looking for on this album.
"When Kanye [West] was trippin' about how he felt like he should have gotten an award [at the MTV Europe Music Awards last fall], I started feeling that, 'cause when I come out this time, if I don't get what I know I deserve, there's gonna be a problem," Banner said. "I have a phenomenal album."
Stumble It!
