This past February, David Banner apparently linked with British singers Daley and Estelle in a Los Angeles studio to record "Benz." It's essentially an updated, much more robust version of Janis Joplin's "Mercedez Benz." The hook on "Benz" revolves around her line of "Oh lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes-Benz," with Daley, Estelle, and Banner then doing their respective thing over the brassy production. It's admittedly a pretty fun track, particularly because of Banner's funky beat and Daley's crooning. But that doesn't mean I want to hear it in every commercial break. Please leave it alone, Mercedes.
