Dave Gahan Recovering from Stomach Flu

Yesterday, it was announced that the reason Dave Gahan was rushed to the hospital before Depeche Mode's concert in Athens on Tuesday was a severe case of stomach flu. Gahan is recovering in an Athens, Greece hospital, and the band was forced to cancel its show in Istanbul last night. The band's primary concern, according to a release, is for Gahan to "recover to full health and resume the tour as soon as possible." There's no word on whether or not the band will reschedule the Athens and Istanbul shows, or if Gahan's flu will cause the band to cancel any future dates. [Pitchfork]
