Glenn Allen Anzalone aka Glenn Danzig, founder of iconic bands such as the Misfits, Samhain and of course the world renowned Danzig seems to be relieving himself of some hefty baggage. This baggage is his home in Los Feliz, California. It was listed on Zillow (a realty website). According to the site’s listing, it’s up for sale a smidgen bellow $1.2 million USD.
The listing states:
Located in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles. This 1907 Craftsman home is awaiting your imagination and creative talents. In the rear of the property is a 2 bd.+1ba. additional unit. Many original accents are still intact. Two story home with hardwood floors, leaded glass, and storage units. This is a property that should be returned to its glorious past. Property is to be sold “as is”.
We could assume that many of the “original accents” are some of Danzig’s own hefty input into the house’s interior design.
As a child Danzig and learned how to play the clarinet, piano and guitar. His collegiate years had him attending NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and later on the New York Institute of Photography. In the ‘90s he started his own adult-themed comic book company Verotik. He of course also went on to releasing numerous albums (two being certified platinum) through his various bands. Did you know that he was also a martial artist who has studied Bruce Lee’s art of Jeet Kune Do and Muay Thai? What can the man not do?
So if you’ve got some pocket cash laying around and you want to own something that has belonged to one of the most notable rock icons in the last four decades – put up a bid. In addition to a home in the sunny state of California, you may have the opportunity to own some of Danzig’s “original” works left behind.
