Woods airing out dirty laundry via a remake of T.I. and Jay-Z's "Swagger Like Us," taking the track one step closer to overtaking "A Milli" for the "Most Overused Beat of the Ever" award. No DK member is named specifically but D. Woods seems to be directing her ire primarily at Dawn Richard, who is predictably accused of being jealous of her swagger. Aubrey's head is too big. She is better suited for a solo career that probably won't go far anyway. Diddy said again and again that she was doing some shady activities that seemed to speak of someone with an individualist nature, which doesn't work in a group. You're looking at a big image, the group image, not the AUBREY image. I mean, I liked what she said on the MTV finale about being yourself and not caring what tabloids think. However, I didn't let the tabloids guide my opinion abotu Aubrey. I WATCHED HER REPRESENT HERSELF on the tv show, and EVEN THEN, WITHOUT READING TABLOID CRAP, I thought she was "ALL ABOUT ME". I Think that Dawn is a great person, I listen to the song, that Aubrey thinks that Dawn did Solo on. It was with Lil Wayne and he says on the record Lil Wayne and Danity Kane, so Puff was telling the truth, he used Dawn's voice to make the song with Lil Wayne, and the other members were going to sing around her voice. Dawn's voice is like the foundation, it is a low moderate tone. As far as Aubrey, why are you getting jealous. If Diddy let dawn do one song with some one, why, you were doing Broad Way. I do not understand. But if you were on your job at work, you could not and would not talk to your boss like Aubrey did Diddy. Aubrey needs to take responsiblity for her actions. Do you know how hard it is to work with a female group? We have only had solo female artists and it hard as hell to get anything going with one female artists. I think that they got jealous of the relationship that Dawn had with the Day26 member. Big ups to Diddy for even tryin to make that group work. Truely I believe that D. Woods didn't have a reason at all for being kicked out the group, Aubrey may have been a little camera crazy and a shady attitude. But if they were so called family like they said on the show, than Dawn wouldn't be making smart comments or saying anything bad about the 2 girls, family is suppose to have your back. It seems to me that it played out the way Dawn wanted it to happen, cause every group is going to have problems, its all about if you can work through them. Diddy needs a lesson on leadership. You can't fix a problem by walking away from it or simply just not dealing with it. Couldn't Diddy have offered to have a counselor speak with the girls to help them address the issue? Being in the spot light is unnatural and that type of situation can cause people to react in ways that they normally would not. How can he ask Aubrey not to change when he possibly is not the same person that he was before all of his fame? Seems a bit hypocritical. How can he not want to address communication issues within the organization? If one of your members questions your lack of proper communication, why not address it instead of firing them. Additional notes: I found it unprofessional of Diddy to have been side tracking the audience and questions with comments about Donnie’s album and voting for Obama. Though the election is important, there is a time for everything and I felt that he was trying to duck important questions with his antics. |

You can say Aubrey shouldn't have addressed her boss in that manner, but on the flip side of that coin...a boss should never address an employee in the manner Diddy speaks to people. I don't have all the details but I am really beginning not to feel Dawn. Dawn seems kind of shady and out for her self. I think she would crap on any of the members (old or remaining) to further her own personal agenda. It's a sad situation. p.s. I miss the ole Aubrey. I hope she finds her way back!
