Well-known producer Daniel Lanois (he's manned the boards for U2 and Bob Dylan albums, among many more) was reportedly seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Los Angeles this weekend. The crash has forced Lanois, who is in stable condition now, to cancel his tour with solo project Black Dub, which was set to head to Europe later this summer. Here's what Lanois' people said about the crash:
"Lanois suffered multiple injuries but is expected to be released from intensive care soon," said a statement released on Tuesday. "Due to the severity of the injuries, Lanois has canceled all upcoming tour dates and promotional activity and will be recuperating for the next two months."
Long story short: Dude is in okay condition, but will be off his feet for at least two months. [Spinner]
